Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Hospitalist Physician you will help Dignity Health Medical Group patients receive expert inpatient care so they can achieve optimal health outcomes and recovery.
Everyday you will deliver direct patient care for complex internal medicine conditions, ranging from diabetes management to critical illness intervention. You will be expected to perform inpatient consultations, efficiently discharge patients from emergency and clinical decision units, and contribute to the education of medical students and residents, ensuring the highest standards of clinical competency and continuous learning within a leading medical center.
To be successful in this role, you must possess extensive experience in managing a high-acuity patient census, a strong commitment to quality improvement initiatives, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team. Ideal candidates will thrive in a Level 1 trauma center environment with high-volume emergency and critical care services, including advanced neurosurgery and cardiovascular care.

Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 300 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
