ACADEMIC INTERVENTION TEACHER
AIS Math and/or Reading (Probationary)
QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2)
NYS Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to differentiate support for students
Use data successfully to monitor student growth
Align instruction to existing curriculum
Plan effectively to enhance student learning
Communicate with staff and parents on student progress
Compensation will be in accordance with the
Valley Stream Teachers' Association Agreement
