Job Opportunity: Pediatric Urology Surgeon

The Department of Urology at our organization is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urology Surgeon for a full-time faculty role at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, contingent upon experience and academic credentials. This position offers eligibility for both tenure and non-tenure tracks.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Chair of Urology, this role presents a unique chance to develop and enhance an academic Urology program in Illinois. The selected candidate will have privileges at both Springfield Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. John's Hospital. Essential duties include:

  • Maintaining a medical practice
  • Teaching medical students and residents
  • Participating in clinical and/or basic science research

Applicants must have completed a residency in Urology and a fellowship in Pediatric Urology. A valid Illinois medical license is a prerequisite for employment.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in the U.S.
  • Eligibility for an Illinois medical license

The anticipated annual salary range for this role is between $250,000 and $275,000, representing the academic base salary funded by the University.
