Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital are seeking a
Part-Time Academic Vascular & Interventional Radiologist
to join our innovative and expanding Vascular & Interventional Radiology program. This unique opportunity offers flexibility while allowing physicians to remain engaged in a thriving vascular-focused IR practice and academic environment.
Our program has evolved into one of the region's premier Vascular & Interventional Radiology groups, recognized for advanced vascular interventions, interventional oncology, transplant-related procedures, and multidisciplinary patient care. As a hybrid academic-private practice model, faculty enjoy the resources and mission of an academic medical center combined with the efficiency and innovation of a private practice environment.
Position Highlights:
Flexible part-time schedule with opportunities tailored to individual interests and availability
Academic faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine
Opportunity to focus on clinical procedural work, outpatient clinic, teaching, or a combination of all three
Collaborative team of 10 Interventional Radiology faculty members in a rapidly expanding practice
Participation in a highly developed vascular and interventional oncology program
State-of-the-art facilities and advanced procedural platforms
Clinical Practice Opportunities:
The practice offers exposure to a diverse and complex procedural portfolio, including:
Peripheral arterial disease interventions and limb salvage
Deep vein thrombectomy and advanced venous reconstruction
Dialysis access creation and maintenance
Y-90 radioembolization and tumor ablation
Portal venous and biliary interventions
Interventional oncology procedures
Transplant and hepatobiliary interventions
Multidisciplinary vascular and tumor board collaborations
A Strong Clinical IR Model:
Our division is committed to a true Clinical Interventional Radiology model focused on longitudinal patient care and disease management.
Faculty participate in:
Comprehensive outpatient vascular disease clinics
Wound care and limb preservation programs
Hepatology and transplant clinics
Multidisciplinary care pathways
Long-term patient management and follow-up
Academic & Teaching Responsibilities:
As part of Saint Louis University's educational mission, faculty have opportunities to:

Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology training
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
Strong interest in clinical Interventional Radiology and multidisciplinary care
Commitment to academic excellence, teaching, and patient-centered care
