Job Responsibilities
Teaches courses across various schedules and locations, demonstrating comprehensive subject knowledge. Assesses student performance and maintains accurate records. Prepares lectures, tests, and assignments. Uses feedback and data to improve course quality. Develops innovative teaching methods and materials. Evaluates course components for effectiveness. Stays current with educational resources, including textbooks and software, to enhance instruction. Counsels students with academic, career, and personal needs and advises students for registration. Examines program/course content to achieve program and College goal. Performs college administrative duties, attends College meetings, and assists with recruiting efforts. Performs other duties which advance the mission of the College. Formulates and develops a professional development plan consistent with the College and program's goals.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Certificate to include CDL Class A, OSHA 10/30, and applicable specialized certifications (i.e. Rubber Gloving, Hotline Tooling). Journeyman Status, documented completion of a federally recognized apprenticeship along with at least 5 years of experience as a first-class line worker.
