Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Academic Record Specialist for a respected higher education partner committed to supporting students and advancing accessible, student-centered educational services. This is a fully remote, full-time temporary assignment expected to last approximately three weeks from the start date, with an ASAP start.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our partner is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Academic Record Specialist to support an important academic records initiative within a collaborative higher education environment. In this role, you will help review and process transfer credit information using a specialized student information system, contributing to accurate and timely academic records for students. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys focused, structured work and can maintain accuracy while working through a high volume of records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process transfer credit information for a high volume of academic records.

• Review records carefully to support accurate and consistent credit transfer processing.

• Enter and update transfer credit information within Ellucian/Colleague.

• Follow established processes and guidelines for reviewing and documenting academic records.

• Maintain strong attention to detail while completing repetitive, data-focused tasks.

• Collaborate with team members as needed to help ensure timely completion of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with Ellucian or Colleague is required.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage a substantial volume of records.

• Comfortable performing structured, repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and focus.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and contribute positively to a collaborative team.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The anticipated pay range for this temporary assignment is $40-$45 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. This fully remote opportunity is expected to last approximately three weeks from the start date and offers the flexibility of working from home. Scion Staffing temporary employees may be eligible for benefits and other applicable programs based on assignment details and eligibility requirements. Equipment support may also be available, including a laptop or remote access to partner systems.
