Our organization is currently looking for a board-eligible or board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our full-time faculty at the Hurley Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program, part of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Flint Campus.
About UsLocated in Flint, Michigan, our medical center serves a diverse patient demographic and addresses various health disparities. We are proud to deliver around 3,000 babies annually. Our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology consists of a vibrant team of faculty physicians, private practitioners, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses. We operate a Level III NICU and a Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine, enabling us to manage high-risk pregnancies effectively. Additionally, we are recognized as a Level 3 facility by the Joint Commission Maternal Levels of Care Program. Opportunities for minimally invasive robotic surgeries are available using the da Vinci Xi surgical system. Our graduates are well-prepared for successful careers as specialists or subspecialists.
Position OverviewThe successful candidate will engage in various aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care, including roles as a laborist, clinic attending physician, gynecologic surgeon, floor-rounder, and consultant physician.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential for this role.
Academic AppointmentFaculty members in this position may seek an academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with rank based on experience.
