Under the direction of the Dean of Community Education, this position works with students, faculty, and staff in the English as a Second Language learner (ESL/ELL) students. This position assist students, faculty, and staff at our campus or CBO locations as needed to coordinate academic and tutorial support as well as participate in related activities such as recruitment and retention. Work requires judgment, analysis, and decision-making according to established practices and procedures. Supervision received is general in nature and daily responsibilities are completed independently in coordination with the faculty, and staff.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Higher Education, Education Administration, major course work in Adult Education or Curriculum and Instruction or related field.
At least three (3) total years of relevant experience*
Bilingual, fluent (able to read, write, and speak) in at least one of the following combination of languages below:
English/Spanish
English/Arabic
English/Hmong
Preferred Education/Experience: in addition to the minimum language requirement listed above.
Master's degree or higher in Higher Education, Education Administration, major course work in Adult Education or Curriculum and Instruction or related field AND five (5) or more years of relevant experience*
Relevant experience includes previous work in a community based organization, high school or higher education) student facing position which directly provides support services which assist students, specifically with ELL/ESL population, achieve academic success working.

Supplemental Information
Start Date: This position supports the Community Education Division and is available to start as soon as possible. This is an ELL Leadership Grant Funded positions with current funding through June 30, 2027.
Hours/Location: This position is a full-time position and works 100% IN PERSON, 38.75 hours per work week year round and primarily based out of our Oak Creek campus location with the ability to flex to other locations if needed occasionally. The hours would be 8am to 4:30pm on some days and 9:30am to 6pm on others. During busy registration seasons like December and April we also have ASCs work 11am to 8pm to help accommodate the PM students. Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited.
Note; this position is limited term and is subject to end on June 30, 2027. If additional funding is not secured the position may end.
Compensation: Hourly rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal salary equity, and a review of the applicants employment and educational background as listed on the job application.
