THE WORK:
- Youll help ensure the safety of Accenture, client and agency personnel, contractor employees, and the traveling public by monitoring contractor operations and traffic conditions, making recommendations, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Youll review contractor operations for compliance with Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA) regulations and Department of Labor & Industries requirements.
- Youll provide direction to project staff to ensure complete, accurate, and timely contract records related to construction progress, job expenditures, budgets, and work order balances are maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Youll collaborate with contractors to verify compliance with project plans, quality standards, and construction requirements.
- Youll perform field inspections to confirm contractor work complies with plans, specifications, special provisions, utility agreements, and permit conditions.
- Youll prepare project reports and review daily inspection reports from field inspectors to document contractor activities and project progress.
- Youll maintain accurate and complete project records while ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Youll calculate and document field quantities to support contractor payment processing.
- Youll document as-built conditions of completed facilities and infrastructure.
- Youll monitor project schedules and budgets and provide status reports to executive leadership as required.
- Youll prepare contract change orders for alterations, deviations, additions, or deletions to project plans and specifications to support successful contract execution.
- Youll research field conditions, develop solutions requiring contract modifications, and coordinate any necessary engineering redesign efforts.
- Youll identify the need for contract-related documentation and prepare submissions for contractor review and action.
- Youll review critical path method (CPM) schedules, identify project risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Youll maintain a daily project diary documenting contractor activities, project progress, and key discussions with project and construction management teams.
- Youll support the resolution of contractor disputes, prepare responses in accordance with contract requirements, and develop draft claim reports when needed.
- Youll ensure inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities are performed in accordance with the clients Quality Management Plan.
- Youll coordinate special inspections and materials testing activities, including collaboration with WABO-certified special inspectors and accredited testing agencies.
- Youll monitor temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC) compliance and coordinate with the certified erosion and sediment control lead.
- Youll review certified payrolls and Washington State Intents and Affidavits to verify apparent compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
- Youll ensure contractor activities and deliverables conform to all client contract documents.
- Youll perform constructability reviews and provide recommendations and comments on design packages to improve project delivery and reduce construction risks.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$175,000 - $225,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
