Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to support an access control installation project in Paradise Valley. This short-term assignment will focus on terminating and installing field devices for approximately 16 doors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial access control systems and be comfortable producing clean, organized panel work.
Key Responsibilities
- Terminate and install access control field devices for approximately 16 doors.
- Install and terminate card readers, request-to-exit (REX) devices, door contacts, and locking hardware.
- Verify proper device operation and ensure all terminations meet industry standards.
- Dress, organize, and label access control panels for a clean and professional installation.
- Follow project specifications, site safety requirements, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with the project team to complete work efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial access control installation experience.
- Experience terminating card readers, REX devices, door contacts, electric strikes, maglocks, or other locking hardware.
- Ability to read and follow access control drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail with clean panel dressing and cable management.
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required.
