Access Guide - Customer Service Rep

Location: Remote - Los Angeles, CA

Salary Range: $15-$18.99/hr.

Introduction

This role serves as the primary point of contact for access to academic medical centers and the Health Sciences Campus. The position involves answering, screening, and directing incoming and outgoing telephone calls, electronic messages, and other web-based communications using a call management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in customer service or a related field.
• Ability to work any shift, Sunday through Saturday, 24/7, including holidays, with rotating schedules.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with medical appointment scheduling.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Experience in a medical or healthcare setting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Answer 75 calls per day and manage after-hours calls to providers.
• Respond to basic inquiries and refer other inquiries to appropriate medical personnel.
• Contact and distribute messages to medical personnel using various electronic methods including text, voice, and email systems.
• Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments as needed.
