We are seeking a detail-oriented Accessioner I to join our laboratory team. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a critical role in receiving, tracking, documenting, and preparing patient specimens for testing. What You"ll Do
Receive, sort, and process incoming laboratory specimens for testing
Accurately log, label, and track patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens
Maintain clinical data and specimen records within laboratory information systems
Ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and chain of custody procedures
Prepare specimens for shipping and transportation according to laboratory protocols
Collaborate with laboratory teams to support timely and accurate testing
Prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, medical office, or fast-paced data entry environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Comfortable working with biological specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
Strong computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Earth City, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
