Job Summary:Sorts, prices, and prepares donated accessories-jewelry, purses, wallets, backpacks, belts, hats etc. for placement in the store.Essential Functions:Inspects donated accessories items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.Prepares accessory items (belts, purses, wallets, jewelry, backpacks etc.) for the store according to the quality and pricing standards.Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.Must be able to work evenings and weekends.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach, and lift up to 40 pounds, walking or standing to a significant degree, and be able to move large boxes, furniture, and other heavy items.
