Accessory Installer

Position: Accessory InstallerLocation: FlintShift: M-TH 5:00am-3:30pm, weekend OT may be requiredPay: $20/hr Do you have mechanical experience in the automotive industry? Are you mechanically inclined and love to work with your hands?  Our FLINT based client is looking for individuals for someone to install accessories and perform other light mechanical duties. • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to assemble equipment accurately.
• Gather necessary materials, build equipment, and conduct performance testing to meet production standards.
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other equipment such as grinders, cutting torches, and overhead cranes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members or work independently to complete progressive assembly line tasks on time.
• Perform final inspections and prepare units for delivery to the product audit stage.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical background.
• Experience in the automotive industry and assembly environments
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to provide own tools
• Ability to lift/move up to 75lbs.

• Hand tools – pneumatic and battery operated
• Cutting torch
• Overhead Cranes
• Grinders
• Plasma Cutter
