Description
Job Title: Accessory Supply Analyst Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Temporary (1-2 months, covering LOA) Pay: $24-$28/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Summary This temporary Associate Analyst role supports an automotive accessory supply operation by helping ensure product availability at dealer and port facilities. The position focuses on minimizing customer impact through backorder resolution, order expediting, and inventory coordination. The role provides hands‑on experience working with OEM partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders while contributing to accurate reporting and process improvements within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Review dealer backorder reports and provide daily written updates
Initiate inventory transfers to prevent unnecessary order referrals
Expedite distribution center orders to address port shortages
Review and resolve port installation errors using internal systems
Create part transfers to replenish port inventories on a weekly basis
Place supply orders to maintain stable inventory pipelines for assigned parts
Partner with port teams to review, track, and clear inventory discrepancies
Assist with reviewing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Support communication with management and OEM partners regarding KPIs, order status, issues, and resolutions
Collaborate with OEM customers and vendors to support operations and improve supply processes
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
3-5 years of related experience preferred
Proficiency with basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
