Responsibilities:
- Install OEM and aftermarket vehicle accessories with precision and attention to detail
- Learn and perform spray-in bed liner applications and undercoating services
- Install running boards, brush guards, grille guards, trailer hitches, tonneau covers, truck toppers, mud flaps, and other bolt-on accessories
- Install lighting upgrades, wheels, interior accessories, and other appearance or performance enhancements
- Perform basic wiring and light electrical installations for accessory equipment when required
- Read installation instructions and follow manufacturer specifications to ensure proper fit and function
- Inspect completed installations to verify quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
- Communicate effectively with management regarding job status, materials needed, and any installation concerns
- Assist with light vehicle maintenance or other shop duties as workload requires
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive accessory installation experience preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work confidently with hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn spray-in bed liners, undercoating, and a wide variety of aftermarket accessory installations
- Experience with truck accessories, trailer hitches, lighting, or basic automotive electrical work is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed installation instructions and manufacturer guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
