JOB SUMMARY: Assist the classroom teacher to provide piano accompaniment for music classes, choral groups, vocal ensembles and soloists, rehearsals, performances, and other school activities; improvising or playing from scores as necessary.
The individual will be expected to work 2-3 days per week (20 hours or less per week) and evening concerts.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by private or college-level training in piano and music theory and at least two years of experience as an accompanist.
COMPENSATION: Starting at $30.00/hour dependent on education and experience.
