Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)


This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.


• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full agency support provided)
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 60 days of your start date
• We provide licensing guidance, study support, and resources to help you successfully complete the process


Role Overview


As an Account Associate, your primary focus is driving agency growth through sales, relationship development, and customer engagement. You will work with prospective and existing customers to identify needs, recommend solutions, and contribute directly to agency production goals.


While customer service is part of the role, this is a sales-first opportunity designed for someone who enjoys closing business and creating growth.


Success in this role is measured by production, activity, relationship development, and contribution to overall agency performance.


Responsibilities


Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, follow-up, and relationship development


Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth


Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products


Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions through consultative sales conversations


Assist customers with account questions, policy updates, and service-related needs while maintaining a strong customer experience


Support policy issuance, underwriting follow-up, and accurate account documentation


Track activity, pipeline progress, and production performance consistently


Collaborate with team members to support agency growth initiatives and office goals


Ensure compliance with agency standards and insurance regulations


Qualifications


Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals


Excellent communication, relationship-building, and persuasion skills


Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the sale


Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude


Prior insurance, sales, customer-facing, or related industry experience preferred


Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
