Position Overview (Property & Casualty Specialist)

As a Property & Casualty (P&C) Specialist—Agent Team Member, you’ll help customers with auto, home, renters, and other property & casualty insurance while supporting the agent’s growth.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, as needed
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review to educate customers on property & casualty coverage options
Develop leads, schedule appointments, and conduct consultative conversations to identify customer needs
Recommend and market appropriate P&C products and services based on coverage goals, risks, and budgets
Assist with policy quoting, reviewing, and follow-up to ensure customers have the right protection
Stay organized and responsive in a fast-paced team environment, including managing communication and documentation
Maintain a high level of professionalism while supporting the agency’s service standards

Requirements
Interest in marketing property and casualty insurance products based on customer needs
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
People-oriented and comfortable engaging the public
Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through
Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Ability to learn and use computer systems (quoting systems, CRM, email, scheduling, etc.)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs
(P&C licensing may be required depending on the role and state)
