Overview
Our client is seeking an Account Coordinator to support their business sales professionals by managing and expediting complex orders, contracts, and quality control activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy, commission eligibility, and smooth execution throughout the end-to-end sales and ordering process. This is a highly collaborative, detail-driven role ideal for candidates with B2B sales support experience, strong communication skills, and comfort working in fast-paced, process-oriented environments.
What You’ll Do Sales & Order Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for the client’s sales professionals, supporting inbound requests related to complex orders
Configure, process, and ratify orders in Salesforce.com, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and commission eligibility
Provide pre- and post-sale monitoring, escalation, and resolution support for orders and contracts
Identify defective or incomplete opportunities and partner with internal teams to develop and execute resolution plans
Subject Matter Expertise
Act as a subject matter expert on the enterprise end-to-end sales and ordering process
Provide guidance and help-desk support to Sales, Order Operations, Client Services, and Service Delivery teams
Proactively improve order accuracy and help accelerate the overall sales and fulfillment process
Quality & Performance
Maintain high quality standards with minimal order rejects following training
Manage assigned cases, which are routinely reviewed and graded for quality and accuracy
Balance availability and productivity metrics, including time in active vs. auxiliary states
Call Volume & Team Environment
Inbound calls only, primarily from internal sales professionals
Average of fewer than 10 calls per day, with significant casework and system-based tasks
Daily interaction and feedback from supervisors
Support a large, enterprise-level sales organization (hundreds of sales professionals across multiple locations)
Qualifications
Experience supporting B2B sales teams in a coordination, sales support, or operations role
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, multi-step processes
Comfort working in Salesforce or similar CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Ability to work onsite in Ballwin, MO
Adaptability in a metric-driven environment
Additional Details
Overtime: Typically voluntary, with occasional mandatory overtime based on business needs
Retention: Many contractors remain in the role for 1–2 years due to strong team support and role stability
