Account Coordinator to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $22/hr
Position Overview: The Account Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support and managing the order-to-fulfillment process for a large customer base, ensuring accurate order processing and timely delivery coordination.
Responsibilities of the Account Coordinator:- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and import teams to meet customer delivery requirements and resolve scheduling issues.
- Communicate order status, shipment progress, and delivery updates to customers, proactively addressing any changes or delays.
- Respond to customer inquiries and special requests while delivering a high level of customer service.
- Support customers and sales teams by providing pricing information, product documentation, samples, and proof of delivery as needed.
- Collaborate with transportation and logistics partners to arrange shipments and ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Maintain customer records, complaints, forecasts, and key performance data, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
- Partner with sales and cross-functional teams by providing account setup support, sales leads, order insights, and other administrative assistance while adhering to company safety and compliance standards.
Required Experience/Skills for the Account Coordinator:- 2-3 years of customer service experience; chemical industry background preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally by phone and email.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using SAP or similar business systems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Account Coordinator:- Chemical industry background preferred.
Education Requirements:- High School Graduate required.
- Associate degree preferred.
