Nectar is looking for an Account Coordinator (AC) who takes big swings, never stops leveling up, and makes the whole team better in the process.

You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, support your team, and grow quickly with hands-on experience across media relations, content, and client work.
Support 3–4 client account teams across tech-focused brands
Draft pitches, press releases, media alerts, and award submissions
Build and maintain media and analyst lists to support outreach efforts
Monitor news cycles and identify timely media and storytelling opportunities
Track media coverage and compile reports, summaries, and insights
Create social media content and assist with editorial calendars
Attend client meetings, capturing notes, action items, and next steps
Maintain trackers, timelines, and account documentation to keep teams organized
Conduct research on industries, competitors, and media landscapes
Assist with briefing materials, media training prep, and interview coordination
Support brainstorms, new business efforts, and campaign ideation
Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution of client programs
0–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or internships in related fields
Preferred prior experience in an agency, tech company, or media environment
Strong writing, editing, and research skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills a proactive communications style, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Interest in media relations, storytelling, and the evolving tech and comms landscapes
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field preferred
Collaborative attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn quickly
Champion the use of AI tools and emerging tech to enhance writing, research, and content production efficiency
Location: San Francisco preferred, NY available
