Account Executive

Remote (U.S.) | Preferred: Great Lakes or Southeast Regions

Base Salary: $72,000 + Uncapped Commission

 

Our client, a well-established financial institution, is seeking a Account Executive to drive business development and expand relationships within the mortgage banking industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-focused mortgage professional who already has an established network of banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, and correspondent lending partners. Success in this role is heavily driven by relationship building, networking, and business development.

 

What You'll Do
  • Develop and grow correspondent lending relationships with banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, and mortgage brokers
  • Prospect and onboard new correspondent clients
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of lending partners
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with prospective clients
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager throughout the client lifecycle
  • Partner with internal operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Assist with contract execution, onboarding activities, and ongoing account management
  • Promote products, services, and lending solutions to drive volume growth

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of Correspondent Lending experience, preferably in a sales or business development role
  • Existing relationships within banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, or correspondent lending channels
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing a book of business
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending and correspondent lending practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proven ability to generate new business and maintain long-term client relationship
