POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Account Executive, Business Sales, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Prospect, cold-call, network, and generate leads to acquire new business within an assigned geographic territory.
• Develop and build strong relationships with small-business customers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas and performance targets.
• Analyze customer needs and use solution-based selling to recommend products and services.
• Present products and services while effectively communicating their value to prospective customers.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Acquire new accounts and manage the sales process through closing.
• Support underserved small-business markets and expand the customer base.
• Work across field sales activities, work-from-home days, and office time according to Manager guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Account Executive, Business Sales professional who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Account Executive, Business Sales professional would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• B2B sales experience.
• Prospecting and cold-calling experience.
• Outside sales experience.
• New-business development and customer acquisition.
• Lead generation and territory development.
• Solution-based selling.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Strong customer relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
