Job Title: Account Executive Sales (Construction)
Location: Remote but must live in the Midwest or East Coast

Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and professional Account Executive to manage and grow an established book of business while developing new sales opportunities. This role blends sales, project coordination, and relationship management in a project-based, field-focused environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, traveling 50% of the time nationwide, and engaging with clients in sensitive, professional settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying new sales opportunities

  • Develop client relationships, upsell services, and expand territory accounts

  • Visit project sites, attend conferences and trade shows, and represent the company professionally

  • Review plans, read blueprints, and assist with material planning and project coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams on project scope, timelines, and customer needs

  • Travel to customer sites and industry events (approx. 50% travel)

  • Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and sales activity reporting

Qualifications

  • Background in sales, construction, landscaping, or project-based services preferred

  • Comfortable reading blueprints and working with measurements and specifications

  • Strong math, organizational, and communication skills

  • Professional, empathetic, and polished demeanor;able to work in sensitive environments

  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable managing a large territory

  • Valid driver s license and clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary $75, 000 with strong commission potential (top performers can exceed $200K)
