Account Executive - Employee Benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll DoClient Partnership & Service Excellence
  • Manage a book of employee benefits clients and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client leadership
  • Establish service schedules and oversee all client deliverables, including renewals, reporting, and open enrollment
  • Conduct most open enrollment meetings for assigned clients
  • Take ownership of escalated service issues related to eligibility, claims, billing, and policy matters
Operational & Compliance Excellence
  • Manage implementation of new clients, including BOR submissions and carrier coordination
  • Oversee preparation of renewal recaps, quarterly reviews, RFPs, and renewal strategy presentations
  • Coordinate with Account Administrators to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in agency management systems
  • Release RFPs, manage carrier follow-up, and respond to carrier requests
  • Organize and analyze carrier quotes and prepare final rate confirmation materials
  • Manage carrier installation and termination processes
  • Prepare and distribute final SBCs, rates, and compensation confirmations
  • Support special projects such as eligibility audits, packet creation, and health fair coordination
Growth & Retention
  • Partner with Producers to retain and grow client relationships
  • Maintain strong client engagement through proactive communication and reliable execution
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and strengthen long-term client partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS

What You BringRequired
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience supporting or managing employee benefits clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
Preferred
  • Experience leading open enrollment meetings
  • Familiarity with agency management systems
  • Employee benefits insurance licensure

Compensation:
Salary range: $80,000-$120,000 per year DOE
Eligible for performance-based bonus: Yes
