Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy Sales Professional with a passion for advocacy to join our team as a Resident Benefits Advocate. In this high-impact role, you will act as a trusted ambassador, navigating complex insurance landscapes to help residents and families access essential care. We are looking for a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering clarity and empathy in every interaction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Education & Advocacy: Empower residents and their families by demystifying health insurance options and providing clear, expert guidance on available coverage.
  • Enrollment Management: Lead the end-to-end enrollment process, assisting with applications and verifying eligibility to ensure access to care.
  • Regulatory Precision: Maintain 100% compliance with company and industry standards, ensuring all documentation and processes meet strict regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a dedicated resource for caregivers and family members, acting with a sense of urgency to resolve complex inquiries and provide timely solutions.

 

 

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Impact Field Sales: Drive results in an independent outside sales capacity, engaging in 90%+ in-person meetings with prospective residents and their families
  • Benefits Education & Enrollment: Educate residents on health insurance options and lead the end-to-end enrollment process, including eligibility verification
  • Exceptional Client Advocacy: Deliver a "resident-first" experience by providing clear, accurate guidance on coverage options and resolving complex inquiries with expertise
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with facility staff and internal teams to build lasting partnerships and ensure an exceptional experience
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain meticulous records and submit documentation promptly using Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
  • Regulatory Precision: Ensure 100% compliance with HIPAA standards, state regulations, and company policies to protect resident information and facility integrity

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer onboarding, or customer service
  • Credential: Willingness to pursue and obtain an Insurance License (100% of education and exam costs covered by Lyric National, Inc.)
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and precision.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Mobility: Reliable mode of transportation and an active Driver's License are required for this outside sales role

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance sales.
  • Advanced Background: Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) operations and/or a current health insurance license
  • CRM Experience: Prior experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar tools)
  • Field Success: Proven track record in an outside sales role
