Account Executive – Integrated Security Solutions
Location: Michigan (Remote with travel throughout the state)

About the Opportunity: We're looking for an experienced Account Executive to help expand our integrated security business throughout Michigan. In this role, you'll partner with commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government customers to develop customized security solutions including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other advanced technologies.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing long-term client relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and managing the sales process from initial consultation through project handoff. You'll work closely with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to deliver high-quality security solutions while growing your own book of business.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships throughout Michigan.
  • Meet with end users, facility managers, consultants, general contractors, and other project stakeholders to identify security needs.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and recommend integrated security solutions that align with project goals and budgets.
  • Prepare project estimates, proposals, bid packages, and scopes of work for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to develop accurate equipment and labor estimates.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and projects transition smoothly after award.
  • Build relationships with manufacturers, distributors, subcontractors, and industry partners to support competitive pricing and successful project execution.
  • Track opportunities through the sales cycle, maintain accurate forecasts, and negotiate contracts that support long-term customer partnerships.
  • Stay current on emerging security technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience selling commercial electronic security, low-voltage, systems integration, or building technology solutions.
  • Experience with integrated security systems such as access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, or related technologies.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications and develop project estimates and proposals.
  • Experience working with end users, contractors, engineers, and consulting firms.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software; experience with Visio, AutoCAD, or estimating software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Michigan.
