We're looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our growing team and help schools, districts, and educational organizations discover how our technology can make a real difference.

Position Summary

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing new business  within the K–12 market. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the education landscape.

You'll partner closely with educators, administrators, and district leaders to understand their needs and demonstrate how Prism's solutions can help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory or account plan to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers in schools, districts, and educational organizations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and close.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering renewals and referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams — including marketing, customer success, and product — to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Stay informed about trends in education technology, funding opportunities, and district priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in education technology, SaaS, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trust with educators and district leaders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with the K–12 education landscape, funding cycles, and procurement processes a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

Why Join Us

  • Mission-driven culture that values innovation and impact.
  • Competitive salary + commission structure.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, vision, dental, 401k).
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Flexible, hybrid, or remote work options
