About The Role As an Account Executive at Nira, you'll play a critical role in growing our customer base of renewable energy Developers/IPPs. Your focus will be new sales —proactively identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential prospects into long-term customers.You'll become an expert in interconnection, positioning Nira as a strategic advantage for developers looking to build profitable projects. This role is ideal for someone who likes understanding and solving complex customer problems, is deeply curious about the grid, and is intent on shaping the future of clean energy.What You\'ll Do Drive new business from renewable energy developers to achieve a $2M annual quota.Own the full sales cycle—prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close.Research and target renewable energy developers using a strategic and data-driven approachEngage with Transmission, Interconnection, and Development teams to understand their pain pointsEducate prospects on how Nira can de-risk and accelerate their project developmentPartner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Data) to relay customer insights and refine messagingTrack pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasts in the CRMBuild trust along with a strong pipeline of deals through outbounds, industry events, and relationships.Become a student of interconnection and transmission planning — able to speak credibly with technical buyers.Partner closely with product and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term adoption.Work with the sales leadership team to refine our sales playbook.About You 2–7 years of experience in SaaS or energy sales (startup experience a plus).
