Account Executive - Outside Sales

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a people person who loves sales, enjoys being out in the community, and wants a career where your relationships drive real results? Key Inspection Services is hiring an Account Executive to grow our presence with real estate agents, brokers, and partners across the Seattle metro area.

In this outside sales role, you'll build new business relationships within an assigned territory, grow market share, and take great care of the agents and referral partners who already trust us. You'll spend much of your week face to face with real estate professionals, hosting events, leading presentations at brokerages, and becoming a familiar, welcome name in the Puget Sound real estate community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and grow relationships with real estate agents and brokers through in-person visits, office events, phone calls, email, and social media
• Drive new business and home inspection sales through real estate agent referrals
• Schedule, confirm, and lead meetings, presentations, and events at real estate offices across your territory
• Plan and run agent events, including educational classes and in-house networking events
• Keep existing referral partners engaged through consistent, professional communication
• Identify obstacles in the sales process and find creative ways to work through them
• Track all sales activity, client conversations, and follow-up in the company CRM, including email campaigns that promote Key Inspection Services
• Help manage the Growth Team events calendar, prepare marketing materials and promotional items, build presentations and pitches, and track event expenses and receipts
• Attend weekly team meetings and pitch in to support teammates when needed
• Partner with office staff and our inspection team to keep our culture collaborative, positive, and fun

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, relationship marketing, territory sales, or account management
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Energy and confidence in a room full of people, whether that's a sales meeting, trade show, or networking event
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Timely responsiveness and great follow-through
• A service mindset and genuine interest in building long-term relationships
• Openness to feedback and a desire to keep growing
• Comfort working with a remote, distributed team (preferred)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, scheduling tools, and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
• Experience using a CRM; HubSpot (or the ability to learn one quickly)
• A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and professional appearance
• Availability during regular business hours plus occasional evenings and weekends for trade shows, agent events, and sponsored events

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in real estate, mortgage, title, escrow, home services, or a related industry
• Knowledge of home or commercial property inspections
• Cold calling experience with successful follow-up results
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology
• An existing network of real estate agents in the Seattle, Bellevue, or greater Puget Sound area
• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred, though relevant experience will be considered
