Overview

Our client is seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Account Executive to support business growth within the Parsippany market. This role focuses on developing new client partnerships and expanding existing accounts by delivering high-impact IT staffing and consulting solutions.

The Account Executive will work closely with internal recruiting teams to connect top talent with organizations across the Northern New Jersey market, helping clients solve critical hiring challenges in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and referrals within the Parsippany and Northern New Jersey market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers
  • Identify client hiring needs across IT, engineering, and technology functions
  • Present and sell staffing solutions including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire services
  • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure timely and effective candidate delivery
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing business
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity goals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and client data within CRM systems

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of B2B sales staffing experience (technology staffing strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling IT staffing or consulting services
  • Established network within the Northern New Jersey or Tri-State market
  • Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools
