Summary The Account Executive – Account Executive & New Partnership Development manages and advances relationships across an assigned portfolio of existing clients while also identifying, prospecting, and securing new partnership opportunities in the market to drive organizational growth. This hybrid role combines strategic account management with new partnership sales. Within the assigned client portfolio, the Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor, ensuring strong client relationships, operational excellence, financial performance, and successful delivery of ampliFI solutions. In parallel, the role is responsible for proactively identifying prospective organizations in the market, establishing new relationships, qualifying opportunities, developing solutions, and progressing new partnerships through the sales cycle. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable managing existing executive relationships and creating new ones. This role requires a proactive, market-facing sales mindset, strong prospecting and business development capabilities, consultative selling skills, financial acumen, and the ability to translate market and client needs into compelling business opportunities for ampliFI. # Account Executive, Partnerships & Channel Growth Responsibilities: Account Executive - Proactively meet and consult with clients and senior executives to develop strategic opportunities that strengthen relationships, extend partnerships, increase revenue, and improve portfolio performance, demonstrating an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Continually monitor and communicate the value of ampliFI products and solutions and, through data analysis and management, demonstrate the financial and consumer engagement value of the ampliFI partnership.
- Consistently deliver Strategic Business and Financial Reviews to assigned clients, demonstrating the value of consumer engagement and loyalty while participating in strategic planning and providing relevant payment and industry expertise.
- Establish and align client goals and objectives with ampliFI’s products and services to maximize the financial and consumer engagement value proposition for both the client/partner and ampliFI.
- Utilize data analysis, account insights, and a consultative sales approach to identify growth opportunities, meet business objectives, and maximize program performance.
- Meet or exceed established revenue growth goals through the sale of new products and services, expansion of existing relationships, and enhancement of overall portfolio performance.
- Act as the primary management point of contact for assigned clients for strategic and financial initiatives and serve as a liaison for escalated issue resolution.
- Manage contract renewals and identify opportunities to expand relationships through additional products, services, and solutions.
- Ensure all accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, and pipeline information are current and accurately documented in Salesforce.
New Partnership Development - Research, identify, and establish working relationships with prospective partners in the market that align with ampliFI’s target client profile.
- Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of new partnership opportunities through proactive market research, business development, referrals, industry relationships, conferences, and outbound prospecting.
- Initiate relationships with prospective partners and engage key decision-makers to understand business needs, strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities where ampliFI can deliver value.
- Lead discovery conversations and apply a consultative sales approach to identify opportunities, establish business value, and position ampliFI’s solutions effectively.
- Develop compelling business cases, proposals, presentations, pricing models, and pro forma analyses to advance prospective partnerships through the sales process.
- Build relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders within prospective partner organizations and effectively communicate ampliFI’s value proposition.
- Represent ampliFI at industry conferences, networking events, and other external forums to increase brand awareness, build relationships, and generate new partnership opportunities.
Essential Skills and Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 3–5 years of related experience in the financial services industry; payments experience strongly preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience managing executive-level client relationships, preferably within loyalty, payments, financial services, or a related industry.
- 3–5 years of experience in an external or internal sales, business development, or consultative selling environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing existing client relationships while identifying and pursuing opportunities for revenue growth.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop relationships, and create new business opportunities.
- Experience presenting business solutions and financial value propositions to senior executives.
Preferred Skills and Experience - Existing relationships within the credit union, financial services, payments providers, or loyalty industries.
- Expertise in card servicing, loyalty programs, card issuing, payments, or related financial services.
- Experience selling B2B products, technology, financial services, or loyalty solutions.
- Experience developing and managing a new business pipeline.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.

Travel - Occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected and could be up to 25%.
Work Arrangement - Based at ampliFI’s Naperville, IL Corporate office, this hybrid role requires onsite reporting Tuesday-Thursday weekly.

An employee’s placement within the salary range will depend on various factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the needs of the business or organization. The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $89,000 per year, plus eligible for commission.
