Responsibilities
Grow the agency through new business acquisition while cross-selling within the existing book of business
Develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups
Handle policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes accurately
Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and customer records in the agency system
Meet weekly and monthly sales and service goals
Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty license preferred — if you aren't licensed yet, you need to be willing and able to get licensed on your own initiative (offers are contingent on passing the exam)
Insurance experience is a plus, but not required
Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without being managed step by step
Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude
Comfortable balancing sales goals with day-to-day customer service
