Job Summary

The Account Lead is responsible for establishing and nurturing working relationships with internal partners to meet client expectations, participating in client calls and delivering business initiatives. This role involves executing bank-initiated changes that impact brand partners or cardholders while maintaining internal and external project trackers. Duties include handling the submission and reconciliation of program invoices, with a basic understanding of contracts and bank operating procedures. Ensuring the timely delivery of contract-related reporting, such as SLA reporting, and supporting clients'' adherence to bank procedures are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves managing the inventory process with a focus on effective expense management for non-campaign-related components. The Account Lead also assists external partners with Salesforce maintenance, ensuring a basic understanding of client servicing procedures.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops working relationships with internal partners to support client expectations, with participation in client calls and delivery of business initiatives. - (30%)
  • Executes bank-initiated changes affecting brand partners or cardholders and maintains internal and external project trackers. - (25%)
  • Manages submission and reconciliation of program invoices, with a basic understanding of contract and bank operating procedures. Ensures timely delivery of contract-related reporting, such as SLA reporting, and supports the ongoing acknowledgment of bank procedures by clients. - (15%)
  • Supports the inventory management process, focusing on effective expense management and non-campaign-related components. Responsible for assisting with salesforce maintenance and ensuring basic knowledge of client servicing procedures. - (15%)
  • Responsible for delivering all portfolio reporting packages, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery. Involves updating and maintaining the brand partner's PartnerPortal access and possessing a foundational understanding of the reporting tools and metrics. - (15%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 2+ years experience in Account Management, Sales, Finance, Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, or credit card portfolio management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a corporate setting, with a proven track record of driving complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with product, technology, or capabilities teams to support system enhancements, process improvements, and business initiatives.
  • Experience serving as a primary liaison between business partners and cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships, and driving alignment on business initiatives.

Work Environment

  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location. Periodic travel to brand partner offices and events. May require work outside of standard business hours.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):

$69,900.00 - $126,600.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California: $80,400.00 - $158,300.00

Colorado: $69,900.00 - $133,000.00

New York: $76,900.00 - $158,300.00

Washington: $73,400.00 - $145,600.00

Maryland: $73,400.00 - $139,300.00

Washington DC: $80,400.00 - $145,600.00

Illinois: $69,900.00 - $139,300.00

New Jersey: $80,400.00 - $145,600.00

Vermont: $69,900.00 - $126,600.00

Ohio: $69,900.00 - $126,600.00

Maine: $69,900.00 - $126,600.00

Connecticut: $76,900.00 - $139,300.00

Virginia: $69,900.00 - $126,600.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
