Position Overview:
- The Medical organization strives to be recognized globally as a leading and highly respected biopharmaceutical medical organization.
- Within Medical Affairs, you will have the opportunity to help impact patient outcomes by supporting the development and appropriate use of innovative medicines.
- The Medical function plays a valuable role in maximizing the potential of scientific and medical innovation, bridging clinical development with clinical practice while expanding understanding of the broader healthcare landscape.
- This position reports to the Vice President, Portfolio & Alliance Strategy (Client), and is a key member of the Global Medical Oncology team.
- The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Coordinator is to support the execution of deliverables across Client.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative and Operational Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Client team for day-to-day operations and project-related activities as needed.
- Manage calendars and coordinate meeting scheduling.
- Prepare meeting minutes and track action items to ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate and organize on-site and off-site Client team meetings, including agenda development and logistics.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to support recruitment activities, including candidate communications and interview scheduling.
- Contract and Budget Coordination Support:
- Support Client team members in coordinating and finalizing project expenditures, purchase order creation, invoice processing, and related financial activities.
- Project Coordination and Support:
- Assist with Client initiatives, which may include alliance management, portfolio strategy, biomarker initiatives, and clinical guidelines/pathways projects, including project documentation and stakeholder communications.
- Manage and maintain Client SharePoint sites and related resources.
- Coordinate agency and consultancy engagements as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical research, development, or commercialization; a scientific background is strongly preferred.
- Experience in oncology.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong follow-through on deliverables.
- Experience supporting large, cross-functional, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional organizations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Pay Rate: $36.42-$38.63/Hour
