Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Serves as the voice of the customer by communicating customer needs, priorities, and concerns internally and escalating issues to the appropriate cross-functional teams for timely resolution.
Manages assigned customer accounts and supports ongoing commercial activities.
Serves as the primary customer contact for CSP on assigned customer accounts.
Identifies opportunities for incremental growth within assigned accounts.
Prepares and supports customer quotations; coordinates internally to obtain pricing, tooling, and cost inputs in customer and company systems.
Lead the management and reporting of customer scorecards.
Develops customer presentations for new or existing product applications.
Coordinates internal resources to support customer needs including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
Lead the contract negotiation with assigned customers.
Ensures orders, quotes, and customer requirements are accurately processed.
Manages day‑to‑day customer issues, supports timely resolution and escalates when needed.
Supports program launches, engineering changes, and lifecycle management activities.
Documents opportunities in the CSP account planning tool and regularly tracks and reports progress, activity, and outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of sales or account management experience in automotive, industrial, heavy truck, or manufacturing environments.
Working knowledge of OEM and Tier 1 customer requirements and processes.
Experience with plastics, composites, or engineered materials preferred.
Proficiency with customer portals (e.g., GM Supplier Power or equivalent).
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to travel to customer and company locations approximately 25%.
