Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for providing accurate and professional customer service to assigned commercial customers with a book consisting primarily of technology and entrepreneurial growth-oriented companies
Responsible for helping achieve department and organization revenue growth goals, through customer retention and collaboration within the department and organization
Maintains a positive attitude and establishes effective relationships with clients, carriers, and agency personnel
Complies with client service deliverable standards, including managing policy reviews, certificate requests, and endorsements
Maintains a thorough understanding of commercial P&C insurance exposures/rating/coverage and forms
Maintains confidentiality of all client information in accordance with agency privacy guidelines
Complies with E&O prevention/Quality Management guidelines and to meet customer service standards
Reviews contracts
Assists with mergers and acquisitions insurance processes
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Bachelor''s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or equivalent preferred
3 years retail insurance agency experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiar with private company mergers and acquisitions activity including interactions with venture capital and private equity
Experience handling accounts where major exposures and coverage lines consist of management liability, professional liability, technology E&O, and cyber
Highly detail oriented
Candidate must be comfortable in client facing situations, renewal meetings, and presentations
