About the Job
First Financial Group of America is now looking for an Insurance/Finance Professional in your area. Our salaried Account Managers are responsible for selling benefits, retirement, and other insurance products and services in a defined sales territory with an existing customer base. You will build strong, long-term relationships with businesses and develop specific, needs-based recommendations for their employees, highlighting the benefits of a large insurance portfolio.
Qualifications
- Group One Life and Health License preferred but not required (must obtain the license within 90 days of hire)
- FINRA Series 6 & 63 Licenses preferred (if obtained within one year from the hire date, a $2,000 bonus will be paid)
- Extensive travel may be required at certain times of the year, including overnight stays
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomatic and tactful communication

Primary Responsibilities
- Focus on growing and maintaining existing business-to-business accounts by directly selling insurance products and services to public school district employees
- Consult with current customers to provide value and meet financial needs
- Build strong relationships with customers and association executives
- Develop customized, needs-based employee benefits packages through annual benefit enrollments and group presentations
- Pursue new account development opportunities
