Account Manager

Job Summary

We are growing througout North Texas and are seeking high achievers who want to be a part of our team and looking for opportunities for professional growth. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to expand our sales and operations in the Fort Worth Metro area. You will report directly to the General Manager and be supported by a staff of operations professionals. Vintage Floors has the best installation teams in the region all led by expert craftsmen so you can be certain that your customers and accounts will have a premium experience with a concierge level of service.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background, a passion for service, commitment to excellence and integrity and a proven track record of achievement.

General Accountabilities

• Develop relationships with builders and designers to ensure Vintage Floors is the partner of choice for their projects. You will develop a book of business with these key accounts and maintain these relationships.  Once you are onboarded, some existing accounts will be given to you.
• Sell direct to homeowners out of our retail showroom.
• Manage the entire sales process from intial project bid to installation and post-sale service
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure product quality, availability, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through expert knowledge product offerings and exceptional service.

Job Qualifications

• 5 years experience as an account manager in the flooring and finishes industry
• Expertise in custom wood floors is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Military service or 4 additional years of experience in flooring accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Articulate and intelligent with a high EQ
• Ability to think critically, solve problems efficiently and work with a team or independently.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Curious personality and ability to quickly learn new information
