Account Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing distribution organization seeking an Account Manager to support and expand existing customer relationships while driving new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and can balance both sales and operational responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Process incoming orders, quotes, and pricing requests with a high level of accuracy
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, purchasing) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Track order status, resolve issues, and provide updates to customers
  • Support outbound sales efforts, including prospecting and re-engaging inactive accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, pricing, and communications in CRM systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service within distribution, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience processing orders, quotes, or working within ERP/CRM systems
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive revenue growth within existing accounts
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Background in distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or wholesale environments
  • Experience supporting B2B customers
  • Familiarity with inventory, pricing structures, or product catalogs

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
