ACCOUNT MANAGER - ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:

Overview of Role: The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all client-related needs, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finances of their assigned clients, and oversees a staff of bookkeepers.
A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
4+ years of experience in full-charge accounting and bookkeeping for high net-worth individuals, preferably within entertainment business management
A minimum of 3+ years' experience in the Entertainment Industry as an Account Executive/Manager or relevant role in a Music Business Management Firm with Tour Accounting experience
3+ years of experience in the client services
Associates or bachelors degree in accounting or finance is highly preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of the general ledger, AP/AR, insurance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
Prior experience in a Management role
Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)
Solid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)
Sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to follow through
Commitment to professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy
Able to work independently, prioritize and maintain recurring tasks with minimal supervision
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and databases
Experience with AgilLink, DataFaction, Quickbooks, Bill and/or Imaging Software is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Daily client financial activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding matters
Review work of bookkeepers and approvals (AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll, and financial statement review)
Review bank balances and statements and approve transfers as needed
Monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit score issues
Monitor insurance renewals and claims
Assist with home and car purchases
Daily client financial activity, including requests and timely follow up on all outstanding matters
Other ad hoc projects, as needed
Effective and appropriate communication with client, client reps, and client employees
Aid in team training and workflow organization, set goals for performance and deadlines, monitor productivity and growth against benchmarks; ensure tasks are learned in a timely manner
Prepare budgets with cash projections, financial reports and supplemental schedules
Prepare client presentations and contribute to client meetings
Hard ticket settlement tracker review, analysis, and reconciliation
Oversight of Merchandising statements tracking, analysis and reconciliation
Preparation and completion of tax packages
Identify and proactively manage foreign touring, insurance, and tax mitigation issues
Review and understand various contracts and create summaries
