The Account Manager oversees all janitorial and facility cleaning operations for a distribution center environment. This role is responsible for managing cleaning teams, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, ensuring client satisfaction, controlling labor and supply costs, and coordinating daily operational activities to support a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse operation.

Compensation: $80,000 per year salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

Shift: Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST (will include weekend shifts too)

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in janitorial management, facility services, or warehouse cleaning operations.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations within the distribution center, including warehouse floors, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, dock areas, and common spaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning services are completed according to contract specifications, company standards, and client expectations.
  • Develop and manage cleaning schedules for day, evening, and overnight shifts.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to maintain cleanliness standards.

Client Relationship Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial supervisors and cleaning staff.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, corrective action, and recognition when appropriate.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational demands.
  • Promote a positive and safety-focused work environment.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Conduct safety training and toolbox talks regularly.
  • Monitor proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain documentation related to inspections, incidents, and compliance requirements.
