As an Account Manager - Sales Excellence for Electrified Motion, you will serve as the primary commercial partner for a portfolio of global OEM and Tier 1 customers, delivering a high-touch, white-glove customer experience while driving profitable business growth. Acting as the voice of the customer within the organization, you will build strong relationships, lead commercial strategy, and ensure seamless execution across the entire product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex customer organizations while balancing customer satisfaction and company objectives. Domestic and international travel will be required to support customer engagement, program execution, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and commercial recovery initiatives to maximize profitability and support business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to ensure successful execution of product launches, engineering changes, and customer-driven requirements.
  • Lead commercial activities related to new business acquisitions, supporting customer quotations, contract negotiations, and program award execution.
  • Oversee sample management activities throughout all development phases, including B-sample builds and subsequent prototype stages, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Monitor and manage program financial performance, including P&L accountability, revenue forecasting, volume risk assessment, and margin optimization.
  • Administer customer-specific commercial requirements, including Raw Material Index (RMI) mechanisms, tooling agreements, surcharge recovery, and contract compliance.
  • Manage tooling commercialization activities, including customer tooling quotations, approvals, tracking, tagging, and reimbursement recovery.
  • Ensure timely setup and maintenance of commercial structures within SAP, including purchase orders, pricing agreements, and funding allocations to support ongoing program execution.
  • Execute and maintain compliance with local commercial policies, customer requirements, and internal governance standards.
  • Drive continuous identification of incremental revenue opportunities, change requests, and commercial enhancements to improve program profitability.
  • Support launch execution activities from acquisition through production start-up, ensuring all commercial deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Travel will be required domestically and internationally
  • Bachelor''s degree in business, finance, marketing, or engineering
  • 5 years of experience in sales / account management within the automotive industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
