Accounts Receivable Specialist II
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Wage: $25.00 - $26.50/hour

At Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL), we’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist II who thrives on accuracy, organization, and making an impact behind the scenes. This role plays a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly across multiple lines of business, ensuring payments are applied correctly, accounts are reconciled, and customers are supported with professionalism and care.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and maintain customer accounts across multiple business lines
  • Post daily cash receipts, including wires, ACH payments, and checks
  • Reconcile Lease Purchase customer accounts on a weekly basis
  • Investigate and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely resolution
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports
  • Assist with fund distribution or collection via ACH and check transactions
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, collections, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or similar discipline
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Advanced attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid Excel skills and overall proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems, including Karmak, Salesforce, Converge, and other internal platforms
