As a Sales Representative, you will prospect, qualify, and close new business for [agency services]. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to needs discovery, proposal presentation, negotiation, and onboarding coordination—while maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up
Conduct discovery calls/meetings to understand client needs, goals, and decision criteria
Present tailored solutions and proposals that align with client objectives
Manage the sales pipeline in [CRM] and keep activity and status updated
Qualify leads using agreed criteria and ensure proper routing/escalation when needed
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, marketing, customer success) to ensure smooth handoffs
Present pricing while also educating and showing value
Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness with prospects and clients
Participate in sales training, coaching, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
0-1+ years of sales experience (agency, SaaS, staffing, advertising, or professional services preferred)
Proven ability to prospect and close deals (experience with full-cycle sales is a plus)
Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting and negotiating with decision-makers
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline
Proficient with CRM systems and sales tools (HubSpot/Salesforce preferred)
Ability to handle rejection and persist through a structured sales process
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience selling Property, casualty and life insurance.
Familiarity with consultative selling and/or value-based selling
