Role Description


As an Account Representative with Morgan Parker Insurance Agency, you will play an important role in the agency’s daily operations, customer experience, and continued growth. You’ll build meaningful relationships with customers, identify their insurance and financial service needs, and connect them with State Farm products and services that can help them prepare for the unexpected and achieve their goals.


In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen existing customer relationships, develop new business, and contribute to a supportive, results-driven agency environment. The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, dependable, and enjoys helping customers find solutions that fit their individual needs.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, outbound conversations, and community connections.
  • Schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Build strong customer relationships and consistently follow up with prospects and existing customers.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service while creating a positive experience with every interaction.
  • Assist customers with questions regarding coverages, policy changes, transfers, billing, claims processes, and other policy-related needs.
  • Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to help customers address gaps in coverage and changing insurance needs.
  • Proactively contact customers regarding new products, coverage opportunities, and account updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document conversations and follow-up activities.
  • Meet individual and agency sales and activity goals while contributing to overall agency growth.
  • Work collaboratively with agency team members to provide a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain long-lasting customer relationships that encourage retention, referrals, and continued agency growth.
QUALIFICATIONS


  • Previous sales experience, including insurance, inside/outside sales, retail sales, customer service, or telemarketing, is preferred.
  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships is preferred.
  • Strong interest in helping customers identify insurance and financial service solutions based on their individual needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a results-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently follow through.
  • Ability to confidently initiate conversations, ask questions, and identify customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license required. Life & Health insurance licensing is a plus.
