ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in May 2022 and currently lead a team of three. My State Farm journey began in 2017 as a team member, giving me firsthand experience with the opportunities for growth and development within an agency. Outside of work, I’m married with two daughters and an avid golfer.
I’m very involved with my church and enjoy staying connected to the community through kids’ sports and other local activities. Building relationships and supporting the people around us is an important part of both our agency and our team.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:As an
Account Representative for Steven Morton - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
- Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
- Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
- Dedicated to customer service.
- Able to anticipate customer needs.
- Able to effectively relate to customers.
