Wheeler Staffing Partners: Job Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is looking for a detail-oriented Account Resolution Specialist to support consumer and real estate loan servicing operations. This fully remote role requires candidates to work Pacific Standard Time hours and focuses on administrative support, document management, and account resolution activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Servicing and Documentation
  • Process and manage consumer and real estate loan documentation within core processing systems
  • Image and upload loan-related documents including payroll deduction forms, adverse action notices, and collection letters
  • Download and maintain student loan and consolidation documentation
  • Prepare and send loan payoff letters

Account Resolution Support
  • Assist with account resolution activities including document collection and distribution
  • Prepare charge-off files for assignment to collections agencies or legal counsel
  • Monitor and track debt counseling proposals and billing invoices
  • Report negative share accounts and maintain tracking logs
  • Update credit reporting systems as required

Quality Control and Compliance
  • Perform post-closing quality control audits on loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure documentation aligns with system records and regulatory requirements
  • Process levies and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Reporting and Administrative Functions
  • Generate and review monthly reports including loan monitoring, file maintenance, and payment tracking
  • Monitor and update returned mail and incorrect address records
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Coordinate departmental mail handling and document distribution
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed

Team and Operational Support
  • Provide administrative support to the Account Resolution team
  • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain and share necessary information
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Participate in meetings and complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum 2 years of collections experience within a credit union
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work Pacific Standard Time hours
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and standard office tools

Preferred
  • Coursework in typing or general office skills
  • Experience with credit reporting systems and loan servicing platforms
