  • Period-End Closing Support: Assist with general accounting month-end and year-end closing processes; proactively review individual colleges’ trial balances to isolate and resolve irregularities within the general ledger control accounts.

  • Stakeholder Reporting: Synthesize complex accounting data to draft professional reports, presentations, and analytical materials geared toward university management, institutional colleges, and external oversight bodies.

  • Ad Hoc & Administrative Support: Furnish key strategic support to the Manager of University Revenue by executing targeted ad hoc reporting, specialized projects, and process evaluations as requested.

  • Historical Research: Investigate and resolve historical balance discrepancies by utilizing available data structures and cultivating active lines of communication with multi-departmental financial and campus bursar professionals.

  • Business Process Documentation: Audit and systematically document newly instituted or existing business processes, ensuring transparency and continuity across the administrative department.

  • ERP Transition Facilitation: Systematically process, format, and validate financial data received from across the university network to prepare for transition to a new ERP system; evaluate data requests from a strict accounting perspective for completeness and reasonableness; promptly escalate critical risks or systemic matters to the immediate supervisor or the University Executive Controller in a timely and effective manner.

  • Analytical & Research Capabilities: Proven capacity for strong numerical analysis, deep investigative evaluation, and research validation techniques.

  • Communication Skills: Refined written and verbal communication skills accompanied by sound interpersonal capabilities to interface effectively across departments and with university professionals.
